The Road Service Technician position requires a mechanically inclined individual, preferably with experience in all phases of semi-trailer repairs including brakes, electrical, floor repair, tires, welding, hydraulics, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and modifications. The role involves performing routine maintenance and adjustments on trailing equipment in compliance with manufacturer and company schedules, as well as conducting DOT inspections and preparing safety documentation. The technician is responsible for shop cleanliness, safety, and compliance with various regulations such as DOT, EPA, and OSHA. This full-time position also requires participation in company training programs and adherence to McGriff policies and procedures for all repairs. Prompt daily attendance at the assigned work location is essential.
