About The Position
S&S Tire is a leading provider of products and services to trucking companies and related industries. We are urgently looking to add a Tire Road Service Technician to our Truck Tire Team in Murfreesboro, TN. This job is typically M-F from 7:30a - 4:30p. Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to: Mount/Dismount/Installation of tires & tire/wheel assemblies Loading/Unloading tires on and off trucks Tire repair Emergency Road Services
Requirements
- Availability to be on call on a rotating schedule
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an automotive repair technician, master technician, fleet mechanic or in a related role
- Willing and able to work in a shop / warehouse environment
- Lift/move tires (up to 100lbs) with or without equipment, frequent bending and lifting
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts
- At minimum 23 years old, possess a valid, insurable license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Nice To Haves
- ASE Certification or Technical/Vocational education in related field is preferred, but not required
- OTR experience is a plus, not required
