About The Position

As Batching Technician, you will ensure ingredients are mixed accurately and efficiently to meet production requirements. You will work with a team of batching technicians to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. This is a full-time, second-shift position scheduled Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of batching equipment, systems, and processes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Solid understanding of food safety regulations and quality management systems, such as HACCP and SQF.
• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks to meet production deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in batching, mixing, industrial cooking, or a similar field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow batching processes and accurately measure and mix ingredients according to recipe specifications and production schedules.
• Coordinate with the Batching Supervisor to ensure ingredients and materials are available on time.
• Monitor batching equipment and systems, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance with maintenance staff.
• Follow safety protocols, sanitation standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of batching operations to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of batch production, ingredient usage, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with quality control and R&D teams to evaluate product quality and assist in developing formulations and recipes.
• Drive continuous improvement to optimize batching processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
