About The Position

As a Batcher, you will ensure raw materials are blended to create beverage products that meet exact specifications. You will verify equipment sanitation and allergen-control requirements, check ingredients against batch documentation, record weights and temperatures, confirm ingredient compliance, conduct routine tests, and weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to requirements.

Requirements

• Must have minimum skills with Office Suite/PC.
• Must show basic knowledge of the English language.

Nice To Haves

• Prefer two years of study in Food Safety or Manufacturing.
• One to three years of experience in a beverage production facility.
• One to three years of experience as a Batcher or Technician with FDA regulatory experience.

Responsibilities

• Verify that batching equipment meets MEC sanitary requirements, including allergen-control surface swabs and Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) swab results.
• Confirm staged ingredients against batch sheets.
• Document ingredient weights and temperatures on formula batch sheets.
• Certify that ingredients meet specifications, including expiration dates, lot codes, and correct ingredient identity.
• Perform routine tests to confirm the final mixture meets specified properties and consistencies, including batch-temperature requirements.
• Double-check bulk ingredients for quantity, lot codes, and specification standards.
• Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to requirements.
