The Batchmaker will produce quality products as scheduled and on time and will be responsible for completing daily production requirements by following the production schedule. This role involves maintaining assigned equipment through required inspections, reporting any issues to the Crew Leader. The Batchmaker will also complete the pre-compounding process, locate and verify raw materials and supplies, and report shortages. They will produce quality products by following batch ticket instructions, sequences, and quality control procedures exactly, documenting raw material usage and any discrepancies on the batch ticket. Additionally, the role requires preparing and delivering marked batch samples to the Quality Control Laboratory, controlling the reintroduction or remix material into mixers, and maintaining a clean and safe work area by following routine housekeeping standards. This includes proper storage of materials, removal of empty containers, and cleaning of equipment and work areas. The Batchmaker must maintain a safe working environment by following safety rules and guidelines, maintain respirator certification, participate in physical inventories and cycle counting, contribute to team efforts, and train designated employees on compounding procedures. Participation in investigations for safety, loss control, accidents, incidents, and rework may also be assigned.
