The Batchmaker will produce quality products as scheduled and on time and will be responsible for completing daily production requirements by following the production schedule. This role involves maintaining assigned equipment through required inspections, reporting any potential contamination, mechanical repair needs, or safety issues to the Crew Leader, and completing the pre-compounding process. The Batchmaker will locate and verify raw materials and supplies, report shortages, and produce quality products by strictly following batch ticket instructions, sequences, and quality control procedures. They will document raw material usage and any discrepancies on the batch ticket, prepare and deliver marked batch samples to the Quality Control Laboratory, and control the reintroduction or remix of material into mixers according to instructions. Maintaining a clean and safe work area, facility, and equipment is crucial, including proper storage of supplies, removal of empty containers, and cleaning of equipment and work areas. The role also requires adherence to safety rules and guidelines, maintaining respirator certification, participating in physical inventories and cycle counting, contributing to team efforts, and training designated employees on compounding procedures. Participation in investigations for safety, loss control, accidents, incidents, and rework may also be assigned.
