About The Position

Windham High School is seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and safety-focused Bass Fishing Coach to lead and develop our student bass fishing program. The purpose of this position is to instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. At the same time, the students shall receive instruction that will lead to the formulation of moral values, pride of accomplishment, acceptable social behavior, self-discipline, sportsmanship, and service to others.

Requirements

• Competitive bass fishing experience.
• Strong mentorship skills.
• Provide and operate their own fully insured fishing boat suitable for student participation and tournament travel.
• Minimum of three (3) years of successful experience in the respective sport as a head coach at or high school, OR at least five (5) years of successful experience as an assistant coach in college or high school is preferred.
• Must have or be able to acquire annual CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Must have or be able to acquire select NFHS and State of NH certifications.
• Strong knowledge and commitment to following rules, expectations, policies, and procedures of the Windham School District and NHIAA.

Nice To Haves

• Secondary Teaching certification is preferred but not required.

• Follow rules, expectations, policies, and procedures of the Windham School District and NHIAA.
