About The Position

Our Graduate Associate Program is a full‑time, immersive, post‑graduate opportunity designed for recent college graduates who are ready to gain real‑world experience in a fast‑paced, professional sports organization. This program offers hands‑on learning, meaningful responsibility, and exposure to leaders across the business — all while working in a collaborative, high‑energy environment. This position will start on 8/24/26 and run through early July 2027. A quick summary about the Graduate Associate role: The Basketball Operations Graduate Associate will support the day-to-day operations of the front office with an emphasis on scouting process logistics. Prior basketball-related experience is essential.

Requirements

  • Post Grad (recent college graduates within 24 months of graduation) or graduate-level college students required.
  • Prior basketball-related experience as a coach, player, manager, or with a sports agency required.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends and be on-call as necessary based on the changing priorities of the department.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products and other related computer skills required.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on business writing skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative.
  • Strong team synergy skills and ability to work collaboratively with others whom you have no direct authority over.
  • Excellent ability to establish rapport with others and ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge/understanding of player evaluation preferred.
  • Experience with various digital video platforms utilized in team environments preferred.
  • Basic understanding of basketball-related analytics. Proficiency in SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing internal scouting calendar, including (but not limited to): credential/ticket requests, delivery, and follow-up; staff communication.
  • Conduct season-long, scouting-based research projects as assigned.
  • Take notes in various settings – meetings, touch bases, etc.
  • Provide support with logistics throughout pre-draft process.
  • Create and deliver a variety of film edits to Basketball Operations staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
