About The Position

D1 Training Sandy Springs is looking for a Baseball Specialist to lead sport-specific training for youth, high school, and club athletes chasing their next level — from varsity to college recruitment. The role involves designing and coaching baseball-specific speed, agility, rotational power, and skill development sessions. The specialist will work 1-on-1 and in small groups with athletes, bringing energy, structure, and baseball IQ to every session, and helping athletes build the physical foundation to compete at the D1 level. D1 is an athletic-based group training facility for adults and youth athletes ages 7 and up, with a mission to provide the best fitness philosophy and facility to help athletes reach their fitness goals. D1 Coaches are catalysts for this mission, implementing the D1 training philosophy, adapting programs, and taking a personal stake in athlete progress. They are part of a high-energy training environment and integral to D1's rapid growth.

Requirements

  • Playing and/or coaching experience in baseball (club, high school, or college level a plus)
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for developing young athletes
  • Certification in strength & conditioning or willingness to obtain (CSCS, CPT, or similar)
  • Reliable, coachable, team-first mindset
  • Has a valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification
  • Has at least one valid certification accredited by the NCCA
  • Minimum of 1 year of strength & conditioning-related experience in a group, team, or personal training setting
  • Reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field
