Baseball Pitching / Catching Coach - Spring 2026-27
About The Position
This position is for a Baseball Pitching / Catching Coach for the Spring 2026-27 season, dependent upon funding and sufficient sign-ups. Coaches are expected to be knowledgeable and skilled in the techniques of their sport, and to promote, coordinate, and continually improve the interscholastic sport they are assigned. Coaches are responsible to the Athletic Director for the content, conduct, and coordination of their program. Athletics is an intricate part of the overall education process, and coaches are responsible for promoting and upgrading their interscholastic program, taking into account administration, budget, rules and regulations, equipment and uniforms, team travel, scheduling, team management, and certification. At Bristol Warren Regional Athletics, the student-athlete is expected to be a student first and an athlete second. Coaches are expected to believe in the educational experience athletics provides and live within the rules and regulations of the program. Coaches should demonstrate respect, loyalty, character, sportsmanship, and honor on and off the field, and develop each athlete as a citizen of the community. The goal is to ensure each student-athlete’s athletic experience is a positive one for both the student and the School Community. While winning is valued, so are personal growth, teamwork, and preparation for the world beyond schooling.
Requirements
- Rhode Island Certificate for Athletic Coach (NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching and Sudden Cardiac Arrest courses) required.
- Current Red Cross certification(s) in CPR and First Aid required.
- Annual recertification for RI Rules and NFHS Concussion course required.

- Must complete cover letter, resume, certification, and letters of reference sections in SchoolSpring.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with secondary school level coaching preferred.
