About The Position
Giants Baseball & Softball Camps is hiring Baseball + Softball Coach Interns / Camp Counselor Interns for a 1-week paid internship at Bayside Park in Burlingame, with the option to add more weeks in San Francisco. This is an ideal summer internship for collegiate softball players and student-athletes looking to gain experience in coaching, youth development, and leadership. This internship is a top choice for college students as it offers a short-term, 1-week summer internship perfect for high school & college softball players. It allows interns to gain hands-on experience in coaching and working with kids, build their resume for careers in sports, education, or coaching, and work outdoors in a fun and active environment.
Requirements
- Must Be Available August 3-7
- Able to commute to Bayside Park in Burlingame
- Experience working with kids (camps, coaching, babysitting, etc.) preferred
- Energetic, reliable, and positive
Responsibilities
- Assist with drills, games, and camp activities
- Work with campers ages 4–13 in small groups
- Help create a safe, fun, and structured camp environment
- Support camper engagement, teamwork, and skill development
- Learn coaching techniques from experienced staff
- Participate in team meetings and daily feedback
