About The Position

The BaSE Specialist troubleshoots, calibrates, and adjusts plant-floor devices to maintain optimal performance of plant-floor equipment. The role sorts and expedites calls and breakdowns, provides maintenance mechanics with information needed to complete repairs, and helps solve daily problems involved in keeping conveyors and the physical facility in good working order. This position is located in Pinellas Park, Florida.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and elementary diagrams.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent in engineering.
• Programming experience, including troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of networks.
• Understanding of motor control theory and operation, including basic AC and DC electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Respond to internal customers.
• Respond to facility alarms and emergencies.
• Troubleshoot problems that arise.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and adjust plant-floor devices as needed to maintain equipment performance.
• Sort calls and breakdowns and expedite their completion.
• Provide maintenance mechanics with information on how to complete repairs to resolve breakdowns.
• Assist with daily problems involved in keeping conveyors and the physical facility in good working order.
