BaSE Specialist
About The Position
The BaSE Specialist troubleshoots, calibrates, and adjusts plant-floor devices to maintain optimal performance of plant-floor equipment. The position sorts calls and breakdowns and expedites their completion, provides maintenance mechanics with information needed to complete repairs, and helps resolve daily issues involved in keeping conveyors and the physical facility in good working order. This is an onsite position; the employee must report to the facility for their regular schedule. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with an eight-hour workday from 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and elementary diagrams.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in engineering.
- Programming experience, including troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of networks.
- Understanding of motor control theory and operation.
- Basic AC and DC electrical troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Respond to internal customers.
- Respond to facility alarms and emergencies.
- Troubleshoot problems that arise.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot, calibrate, and adjust plant-floor devices as needed.
- Sort calls and breakdowns and expedite their completion.
- Provide maintenance mechanics with information on completing repairs to resolve breakdowns.
- Assist in resolving daily issues to keep conveyors and the physical facility in good working order.
