Base Area Operator
About The Position
The Base Area Operator performs critical operations in the resort’s base area to provide guests with a welcoming arrival experience and help ensure smooth resort operations. This flexible role may involve working across multiple departments and supporting different projects and events. Work may include parking, scanning, grounds maintenance and winter snow removal, janitorial duties, and support for mountain activities, retail rental operations, food and beverage, ticket sales or scanning, lift operations, or guest services. The position is winter seasonal for 2026/2027, with full-time hours available. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour. Housing is not available.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Follow procedures and guidelines to maintain personal and team safety.
- Be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in seasonal environments.
- Be able to lift 50 lb. (22.6 kg.).
- Be able to stand and perform physical work consistently.
- Be able to work weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Assist with base area operations, including parking, scanning, grounds maintenance, and winter snow removal.
- Provide flexible labor support for various projects and events.
- Perform janitorial duties.
- Support other departments and roles as needed, potentially including mountain activities, retail rental operations, food and beverage support, ticket sales or scanning, lift operations, and guest services.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
