About The Position
As a Base Area Operator, you will perform critical base-area operations to provide guests with a positive arrival experience and help ensure smooth resort operations. The role involves varied work throughout the day and may support multiple departments and roles as part of the resort’s one-resort approach. The position is winter seasonal for 2026/2027, with part-time hours available. The starting and expected pay is $20.00 per hour. Housing is available.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Follow procedures and guidelines to maintain personal and team safety.
- Be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in seasonal environments.
- Be able to lift 50 lb. (22.6 kg.).
- Be able to stand and perform physical work consistently.
- Be able to work weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Assist with base-area operations, which may include parking, scanning, and grounds maintenance at the resort base, including winter snow removal.
- Provide flexible labor for various projects and events.
- Perform janitorial duties.
- Support work across departments such as Mountain Activities, Retail Rental operations, Food and Beverage Support, ticket sales or scanning, and Lift Operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
