About The Position
The Base Area Operator performs critical operations in the resort base area to deliver a positive guest arrival experience and help keep resort operations running smoothly. The role involves varied work throughout the day and may support multiple departments and functions as part of a flexible, resort-wide team. This is a winter seasonal position for 2026/2027, with full-time hours available. The starting and expected pay is $20.00 per hour. Housing is available.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to protect yourself and your team.
- Be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in seasonal environments.
- Be able to lift 50 lb (22.6 kg).
- Be able to stand and perform physical work consistently.
- Be able to work weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Assist with base area operations, including parking, scanning, and grounds maintenance at the resort base, including winter snow removal.
- Provide flexible labor support for projects and events.
- Perform janitorial duties.
- Support other departments and roles as needed, which may include Mountain Activities, Retail Rental operations, Food and Beverage Support, ticket sales or scanning, and Lift Operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
