About The Position
The Before and After School Program (B.A.S.E.) Aide works at Washington Street Elementary. The position starts immediately, with training provided. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Wednesdays from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Extra hours are available on delayed-start Wednesdays, snow days, two-hour delays, school breaks, and teacher in-service or conference days. Summer work is 30 hours per week, with times to be determined. Starting pay is $14.94.
Requirements
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Must satisfy DHS requirements, including a physical/TB assessment and background check/fingerprints upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with childcare or education is preferred.
