About The Position

BCM Controls Corporation is seeking an experienced Building Automation Systems (BAS) Project Manager in Woburn, Massachusetts. As part of Comfort Systems USA, BCM Controls combines the resources and career opportunities of a national organization with a collaborative local-company environment. The company specializes in building automation, security systems, and energy services for commercial, institutional, and industrial customers. The BAS Project Manager owns commercial building automation and HVAC controls projects, overseeing execution from planning through completion. The role coordinates engineering and field teams, subcontractors, vendors, customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver quality work safely, on time, and within budget.

Requirements

3–5 years of project management experience or 5+ years of relevant commercial construction experience.
Strong knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS), Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC controls, or related technologies.
Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and subcontractor coordination.
Strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience is also considered.

Responsibilities

Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasting, and overall financial performance.
Coordinate engineering teams, field teams, subcontractors, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversee project planning, procurement, installation, startup, and commissioning.
Manage project change orders, identify risks, and resolve challenges proactively.
Build strong relationships with customers, contractors, and project stakeholders.
