About The Position

Southwest Electrical Contracting Services LLC is seeking a motivated and dependable BAS Installer for its EMCS Division. The role installs Building Automation and Energy Management Control Systems in commercial and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate has hands-on electrical or BAS experience, maintains strong safety standards, and can work independently and as part of a team. The position offers hands-on experience in building automation systems and opportunities for career advancement.

Requirements

Meet SWECS minimum eligibility requirements for new hires.
Have a positive attitude and strong eagerness to learn.
Have reliable transportation.
Maintain an excellent attendance record.
Maintain the minimum required tool list.
Have at least 2 years of work experience in BAS or the electrical trade.
Have knowledge of EMCS systems, electrical installation materials, and wiring methods.
Be trusted to work independently for extended periods.
Be able to install conduit raceways and control wiring as directed by a supervisor.
Be capable of installing floor-level EMCS systems.
Hold an OSHA 10-Hour Safety Certification.
Be capable of reading and interpreting MEP plans and specifications.
Be capable of reading and interpreting EMCS system submittal drawings.
Be able to install mechanical room-level EMCS systems.

Responsibilities

Install and bend conduit and raceways, and install control wiring and EMCS devices.
Install control panels, sensors, actuators, and related BAS components.
Follow project blueprints, specifications, and SWECS safety standards.
Communicate clearly with supervisors and project teams.
Keep job sites organized, safe, and compliant.
Meet project timelines while maintaining quality workmanship.
