About The Position

Albireo Energy is seeking motivated self-starters to join their growth and be a long-term part of the team. The company specializes in the installation of Building Automation Systems in various commercial buildings such as hospitals, schools, and office buildings. This position involves the installation of conduit and wiring of devices and controllers for Building Automation Systems. The technician must be capable of reading and interpreting MEP plans & specifications, and BAS Submittal Drawings. A valid driver’s license is required, and applicants must qualify to operate a company vehicle. Level-3 requires no supervision while laying out the installation of multiple projects, maintaining accurate inventory counts, and supporting apprentices. The team member must have a complete understanding of standard processes, procedures, and products, and be able to troubleshoot system issues. Additional responsibilities include performing point-to-point checkout, completing project documentation, and identifying change order opportunities. A Journeyman’s License in the State of Nebraska is required, along with 4+ years of experience.

Requirements

GED or high school diploma with at least one year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Clean criminal history.
Must have a valid driver's license and must qualify to operate a company vehicle.
Must possess documented experience/training on various systems and controls.
Ability to work overtime, varied shift hours and occasional travel as needed.
Effectively able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
Strong computer skills are necessary for Level 3.
Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, contractors, supervisor, and fellow team members.
Work independently and as a team member.
Ability to lift up-to 50 lbs., bend, climb, kneel, twist, stand and climb stairs and ladders.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks and projects and prioritize based on departmental functions.
Journeyman’s License in the State of Nebraska.
4+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

Assist teammates as needed.
Installation of control wiring, control components, EMT conduit, reading and understanding electrical diagrams, working from ladders.
Reading MEP plans and other Construction documents.
Provide status reports of work related to any project involvement.
Troubleshooting abilities.
Possesses or willing to obtain OSHA Safety Certificate.
