About The Position
The BAS Controls Division Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of Controls projects, from design and material preparation to installation oversight and customer training. This role requires a strong understanding of Building Automation Systems (BAS), including design, programming, and technical services. The manager will lead a team of mechanics and electricians, ensuring safety standards and project timelines are met. Additionally, the position involves assisting the sales team and providing training to staff and customers.
Requirements
- Well versed in designing BAS systems and perform takeoffs
- Ability to terminate all control wiring
Responsibilities
- Manage all Controls project commitments
- Design BAS systems and perform takeoffs
- Create bill of materials and prepare submittal packages for customers
- Oversee installations and perform the programming and graphics of BAS systems
- Direct and assist a team of mechanics and electricians during installations
- Terminate all control wiring
- Manage the project in its entirety to ensure that safety standards and project timelines are met
- Provide technical services for existing and future control systems as needed
- Assist the sales team when related to controls projects
- Train staff and customers on how to utilize newly installed BAS systems
- Complete final walk throughs and prepare related closeout documentation
