About The Position

Join the Rehoboth Beach Country Club Talon Tribe as a Bartender! This is a Year-Round, Part-Time position with flexible scheduling based on business needs, requiring weekend availability. The role involves creating memorable experiences, crafting great cocktails, and building relationships with guests. We are looking for a friendly, energetic Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where hospitality comes first. Talon Tribe Bartenders create welcoming experiences for members and guests by serving signature cocktails, recommending menu favorites, and remembering members' favorite beverages, playing an important role in delivering exceptional service every shift.

Requirements

  • Previous bartending or serving experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of standard cocktail recipes, wine, beer, and responsible alcohol service.
  • Experience using a POS system is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team.
  • Weekend and holiday availability is required.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods (5–13 hours per shift).
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Bend, reach, stretch, climb stairs, and move efficiently throughout the shift.
  • Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and Club standards.
  • Build relationships with members by providing personalized, attentive service.
  • Make menu and beverage recommendations, including wine, cocktails, appetizers, entrées, and desserts.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate special requests to the kitchen.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout each shift.
  • Follow all Club policies and local and state laws regarding the responsible service of alcohol.
  • Communicate member feedback or service concerns to the Manager on Duty.
  • Assist with inventory, stocking, and other operational duties as needed.
