About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a service-oriented Bartender for The Trail Hotel. The role focuses on preparing and serving beverages according to bar standards and guest preferences while maintaining a clean, stocked, and secure bar. The bartender engages with guests, checks that they are of legal drinking age, monitors for alcohol overconsumption, processes payment, and completes closing and other assigned duties.

Requirements

Minimum of a high school education.
At least three years of experience in a bartending role.
Thorough knowledge of alcohol-serving practices and standards.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
Ability to exceed guest expectations.
Detail-oriented.
Team player.

Nice To Haves

Bartending certification.
Alcohol awareness certification.

Responsibilities

Set up the bar with appropriate levels of liquor, juices, crushes, additives, soda, and other supplies.
Keep the bar, glasses, and cutlery clean and sanitized.
Ensure guests are of legal age to consume alcohol.
Prepare drink orders according to bar standards and guest preferences.
Present bills and take payment.
Engage guests and ensure they are satisfied.
Monitor guests for alcohol overconsumption and take appropriate steps.
Lock up and store beverage, food, and other equipment items; deposit cash drops and secure the bank.
Perform other duties as assigned.
