About The Position

Tuscany Suites & Casino, located near the Las Vegas Strip and Convention Center, is seeking an experienced Bartender for its Bistecca Italian Steakhouse. The role involves providing excellent customer service and crafting handmade cocktails for guests in the restaurant.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Must be 21 years old.
Minimum of 2 years of restaurant service experience.
Serving, fine dining, or steakhouse experience.
Basic wine, beer, and spirits knowledge.
Ability to complete cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to obtain and maintain Health card, TAM card, Gaming registration, Non-gaming registration, and any other required certifications or licenses.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt, friendly, and courteous service of food and beverage to guests.
Mix drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages, including non-alcoholic options.
Interact with customers, take orders, and serve food and drinks.
Anticipate customer needs and preferences, and make recommendations.
Assist servers with drinks and checks.
Operate the register, maintaining transactions and paperwork according to company standards.
Make food and beverage recommendations to guests.
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails, pouring accurate measurements according to company standards and drink recipes.
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
Maintain a guest-focused approach to nurture an excellent guest experience.
Lift or carry 50 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks.
Work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
