About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced bartender to join our team at Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine. As a bartender, you will be responsible for crafting and serving high quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You will work closely with other staff member to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Requirements

At least 2 years experience in a similar full service restaurant
Wine knowledge
Follow all safety, health, and sanitation regulations and guidelines.
Standing / Walking up to 8 hours continuously
Lifting up to 50 lbs alone, and up to 80 lbs as a team

Responsibilities

Provide legendary service to bar guests according to standard operating procedures
Have adequate menu knowledge and make guest recommendations
Prep, stock, clean, and maintain bar to a high level of level of organization and cleanliness
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers according to established recipes and standards
Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences
Monitor and manage inventory levels, maintain accurate records of beverage usage and sales
Check identification to verify that guests are of legal drinking age
Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly
Enhance guest experience to encourage repeat visits
Collaborate with other bar and restaurant staff to maintain a smooth and efficient operation
Answering phones
Taking To-Go orders in accordance with company standards
Taking bar tables
Create drink recipes
