We are seeking energetic, friendly, and skilled Bartenders to deliver exceptional beverage service in a beautiful setting featuring stunning lake views, a spacious patio with fire pits, and a relaxed golf-course atmosphere. Whether serving golfers after a round or families enjoying a night out, you'll be part of creating memorable experiences with hand-crafted cocktails, craft beers, and great hospitality. Falcon Lakes Golf Club is one of Kansas City’s premier public golf courses, designed by renowned architect Jay Morrish and featuring a scenic links-style layout with zoysia fairways and lake views. The Nest Bar & Grill serves as the clubhouse restaurant—open to the public—offering fresh, affordable American favorites with a golf twist, a full bar, and a welcoming vibe for golfers, families, and the local community. Enjoy indoor dining or relax on the patio with big screens, lawn games, and fire pits. We host events, private parties, and are always buzzing with good times and great service.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older with reliable transportation.
• Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, bar, or high-volume setting strongly preferred; enthusiastic candidates with excellent customer service skills will be considered for training.
• Solid knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, beer styles, and basic wine service.
• Outgoing personality, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality and teamwork.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours), work in a fast-paced environment, and lift/carry up to 30 lbs.
• Flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak golf season shifts.
• Willingness to obtain (or already hold) a Kansas Food Handler Permit and Alcohol Server Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages including signature hand-crafted cocktails, local craft beers on tap, wines by the glass/bottle, and refreshing non-alcoholic options with precision and creativity.
• Deliver outstanding guest service with a warm, welcoming attitude—greeting patrons, taking orders efficiently, making personalized recommendations, and ensuring every guest feels valued.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area, including glassware, garnishes, and inventory management while adhering to all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Accurately process payments, manage tabs, operate the POS system, and handle cash/credit transactions with integrity.
• Upsell menu items, pair drinks with food specials, and stay knowledgeable about daily features, seasonal offerings, and the full food menu (appetizers, burgers, tacos, entrées, and more).
• Collaborate seamlessly with servers, kitchen staff, and management during busy periods, including weekends, golf tournaments, private events, and patio service.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by verifying IDs, monitoring guest consumption, and following all Kansas liquor laws (TIPS or equivalent certification a plus).
• Assist with opening/closing procedures, end-of-night clean-up, inventory counts, and supporting special events or catering as needed.
