About The Position

The Le Méridien Sheraton Charlotte Hotel is currently seeking a dynamic, motivated, and service-oriented individual for the position of Bartender to join our team at our StepStone Hospitality managed hotel. The Le Méridien Sheraton Charlotte Hotel, located in Uptown Charlotte, is a 605-room dual-branded property with 65,000 square feet of meeting and conference space. The ideal candidate will have three to six months of related experience, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Requirements

• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
• Must know applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations.
• Relevant training and experience required.
• Ability to obtain required licenses and certificates.

Nice To Haves

• High school education preferred.
• CPR training and first aid training preferred.
• Additional language ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
• Take beverage and food orders while providing exceptional guest service.
• Verify guest identification and serve alcohol responsibly.
• Process payments accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.
• Set up and break down the bar before and after each shift.
• Report guest concerns and inventory needs to management.
• Follow all company policies and food, beverage, health, and safety regulations.
• Assist all service personnel in any duties as requested.
