About The Position

Marcus Theatres is hiring a part-time bartender to join its Service Team and serve food and beverages in a professional bar and restaurant environment. The role involves preparing beverages, checking guests’ ages when alcohol is purchased, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and recommending options based on guests’ needs and preferences. The bartender also maintains bar stock, cleanliness, organization, and accurate transactions while complying with food and beverage service regulations. Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages for guests.
• Verify that guests purchasing alcohol are at least 21 years of age.
• Interact with guests, take orders, and serve food and drinks.
• Assess guests’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
• Set up and maintain appropriate stock levels for the bar.
• Keep the bar and lounge area clean and well organized.
• Comply with food and beverage preparation and service regulations.
• Handle transactions accurately and demonstrate cash-handling skills.
• Keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.
