About The Position

The Bartender provides exceptional service by preparing and serving beverages to guests, supporting the restaurant staff, and contributing to a positive and professional atmosphere. Bartenders are responsible for delivering quality service while ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards and maintaining a clean, organized bar environment.

Requirements

Previous bartending experience in casual or fine-dining settings.
Professional knowledge of cocktails, wine, and beverage service with willingness to learn new techniques.
Ability to manage multiple guests and orders simultaneously while maintaining service quality.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a team-oriented attitude.
Self-motivated, positive, and attentive to guest experience.
Ability to physically perform duties including lifting, carrying trays, and navigating kitchen and bar areas.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and portion control standards.
Ensure prompt, accurate service to multiple customers while supporting Statehouse restaurant servers.
Provide professional, friendly, and warm hospitality to all guests.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, glassware, utensils, and work areas.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock needs to management.
Handle cash and POS transactions accurately and responsibly.
Comply with all State, Federal, and corporate liquor regulations, including age verification.
Support fellow team members and maintain positive teamwork throughout the restaurant and bar.
Attend pre-shift meetings and required training sessions.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
