About The Position

The Bartender at Legend’s Bar & Grill delivers prompt, friendly, and courteous service to guests. The role ensures guest and server orders are prepared accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• At least one year of bartending experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Ability to communicate effectively by telephone and in person.
• Basic computer and MICROS knowledge.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Previous cash-handling experience.
• Ability to attain valid AZ Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service certifications upon hire if not already certified.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, provide courteous service, and engage guests in conversation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve properly mixed and proportioned drinks to guests and servers in a timely manner.
• Maintain excellent working knowledge of liquors, beers, and wines.
• Upsell and suggest food and beverage items to guests.
• Requisition and restock the bar with essential products and equipment.
• Observe and adhere to all liquor liability laws.
• Check guests’ identification and ensure alcohol is served only to patrons of legal drinking age.
• Monitor guests’ alcohol intake and prohibit alcohol sales to intoxicated guests.
• Communicate with guests, respond positively to feedback, and resolve service issues.
