About The Position

This position is responsible for mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures for casino floor, restaurant servers, bars, and lounges. The role involves identifying when guests need to be cut off and not overserving guests. The bartender will also be responsible for collecting money for drinks served, processing payments, and providing receipts. Additionally, the role requires ordering or requisitioning liquors and supplies, arranging bottles and glasses for attractive displays, and slicing/pitting fruit for garnishing drinks. The bartender must maintain a positive and cooperative attitude, keep the service area stocked and clean, and memorize recipes for popular mixed drinks. They will also verify bar stock, replenish inventory, provide exceptional customer service, work safely, and communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and guests. This position is represented by Unite Here and is subject to the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Availability to work weekends, holidays, and nights as scheduled is required. Requirements

Responsibilities

Takes orders, mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures for casino floor, restaurant servers, bars, and lounges.

Identifies when guests need to be cut off and does not over serve guests.
Responsible for the mixing and serving of beverages in a service station capacity to Cocktail and Food Servers in a friendly, courteous, prompt and efficient manner.
Collects money for drinks served and processes payment according to established procedures.
Provides guest with a receipt after processing order.
Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies.
Arranges bottles and glasses to make attractive displays.
Slices and pits fruit for garnishing drinks.
Portrays a positive and cooperative attitude at all times.
Keeps service area stocked with supplies and keeps the work area orderly and clean.
Maintains knowledge of the most popular mixed drinks (memorizes recipes) including the proper drink garnishes and is able to mix them quickly and accurately.
