About The Position

Apex Entertainment is hiring an outgoing Bartender to prepare and serve cocktails, beer, and other beverages in a high-energy environment while delivering a welcoming guest experience. The role includes making drinks accurately and efficiently, offering knowledgeable recommendations, checking IDs and monitoring alcohol consumption, and answering guest questions. Bartenders maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar, complete opening and closing duties, restock and check inventory, and follow health and safety standards. They also support facility operations, events, private parties, and corporate gatherings as needed, and work collaboratively with staff and leadership.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant.
• TIPS certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Cash handling experience.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

• Event bartending experience.

Responsibilities

• Mix cocktails, beers, and other beverages with speed, skill, and accuracy.
• Follow established recipes and provide drink recommendations, including suggestions about spirits and pairings.
• Check IDs and monitor guest consumption to ensure responsible alcohol service.
• Create a welcoming environment and engage with guests to make their visits memorable.
• Share knowledge of the menu and drink offerings, and handle guest inquiries professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including restocking and inventory checks.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met.
• Help with other tasks as needed, including answering phones and assisting servers.
• Anticipate guest needs and support special events, private parties, and corporate gatherings.
• Communicate with staff and leadership, maintain a positive attitude, and support teammates throughout each shift.
