About The Position

Oahu Country Club is seeking a part-time Bartender with prior bartending experience. This role is crucial for both the day-to-day operations of the bar and the execution of banquet events. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a warm and outgoing personality, and a high level of knowledge in food and beverage service. This is a hands-on position that requires significant interaction with team members, club members, and guests, ensuring an outstanding service experience. As a non-tipping club, the focus is on providing exceptional service.

Requirements

Bartending experience.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding service to all members and guests.
Execute events and manage the day-to-day operation of the bar.
Assist the manager with ordering products and interfacing with vendors.
Assist with wine club storage and members.
Communicate effectively with the culinary team.
Assist with wine inventory.
Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
Approach all encounters with members, guests, and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
Maintain regular attendance and monitor work performance and member satisfaction.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
Communicate effectively with all departments of the Club.
Comply with Oahu Country Club standards and regulations.
Maintain all Club service standards and set examples.
Maintain proper inventory of all bar-related items, including ordering, prep, set up, and breakdown.
Clean the bar area thoroughly.
Wait tables, bus tables, and assist with bartending as needed.
Assist with schedules, marketing, and printing of collateral and menus.
Learn and understand all Club Member Rules and liquor regulations.
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the bar and surrounding area.
Convey information and ideas clearly.
Evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly.
