About The Position

The Bartender serves beverages and/or food to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner to support guest satisfaction. The role also prepares beverages for other servers and acts as cashier for the lounge. Responsibilities include setting up and stocking the bar, maintaining fresh garnishes and perishables, taking and preparing drink orders, processing payments, and securing beverage, food, and cash-handling equipment.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a bartender.
• Ability to obtain a Responsible Vendor Permit/certification (RV Bar Card) within 45 days of hire.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper daily bar setup and requisition and stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce based on daily function projections.
• Maintain stock, cut and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure product quality.
• Greet guests courteously and promote and document drink orders.
• Mix, garnish, and present drinks according to standard ingredient recipes and prudent portion control.
• Follow applicable State, Federal, and Corporate requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Enter orders into the point-of-sale register and create a check for each guest, including guests served by other beverage servers, to maintain accountability.
• Receive guest cash, make change, verify charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly completed to balance all monies.
• Lock up and store beverage, food, and other equipment; deposit cash drops; and secure the bank.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
