About The Position

The Restaurant Server works at Anacacho Coffee & Cantina at The St. Anthony, a Luxury Collection Hotel, in downtown San Antonio. The role involves taking and serving guest orders promptly in accordance with the service manual, completing assigned setup and side work, answering questions about the menu, and checking food for correct appearance, temperature, and portions before serving. The server may also operate the electronic cash register or point-of-sale system and perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Ability to communicate well with guests.
• Willingness to help coworkers with their job duties and be a team player.
• Ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
• Ability to lift at least 30 pounds.
• Unexpired TABC and Food Handlers Certification.

• Previous restaurant or hotel experience is preferred.
