This position is responsible for directly serving and interacting with customers and exudes a genuine enjoyment of people. The Bartender provides friendly and efficient food and beverage service to guests, communicates concerns to management, and uses salesmanship skills to recommend beers and other items. They fill drink orders, anticipate customer needs, and ensure guest satisfaction. The role requires accurate use of the Toast POS system, communication with management regarding inventory, and checking customer identification to comply with liquor laws and responsible consumption policies. The Bartender demonstrates leadership and teamwork, maintains bar cleanliness and organization, and manages inventory of bar supplies. They also adhere to safe food handling practices and may provide food service and stock retail areas.
