About The Position

Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Escondido is hiring part-time Dishwashers! If you’re reliable, hardworking, and thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment, this is a great opportunity to join a high-energy team and gain experience in a well-known craft brewery restaurant. As a Dishwasher, you play a critical role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly by ensuring all dishes, glassware, and equipment are clean, sanitized, and ready for service. This is a tip-eligible position, offering the opportunity to contribute to both daily operations and special events.

Requirements

1+ year of experience in a dishwasher, steward, or kitchen support role (high-volume restaurant preferred)
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
Team player with strong communication skills
California Food Handler Card (required or ability to obtain)
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move equipment or supplies
Reliable transportation and flexible availability (including weekends and holidays)

Nice To Haves

Experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred

Responsibilities

Operate commercial dishwashing equipment and/or hand-washing stations efficiently
Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
Maintain a steady flow of clean items to support kitchen and bar operations
Assist with event support and large-volume dishwashing needs
Remove trash and recycling, supporting sustainability and cleanliness standards
Complete opening and closing duties, ensuring proper kitchen organization
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines
Identify and report equipment issues or supply shortages
Maintain a clean, organized dish area and workspace
Support team members and contribute to a positive, respectful work environment
