About The Position
Timberline Mountain is seeking friendly, outgoing, and multitasking bartenders to join our team for the 2026-2027 seasonal position. The role involves providing pleasant, prompt, and courteous guest service in a fast-paced environment. Bartenders will act as ambassadors for Timberline Mountain, maintaining a positive attitude and professionalism while effectively solving problems and communicating with guests, coworkers, and supervisors.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old by 11/1/2026.
- All employees age 18+ will complete a background check upon hire.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, is required.
- Must follow all state and local laws for serving alcohol responsibly, as well as alcohol serving policies as required by WV State Law.
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- At least one-year of food & beverage/bartending experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide pleasant, prompt, and courteous guest service.
- Keep the bar clean and organized, ensuring glasses and utensils are clean.
- Communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Work well in a team with other bartenders, managers, waiters, and assistant bartenders.
- Behave professionally and maintain a positive attitude.
- Solve problems effectively and efficiently, especially during busy shifts.
- Lift heavy cases of liquor, beer, and wine.
- Be on feet for most of their shifts.
