About The Position

YOT Bar & Kitchen is seeking a Bartender to craft cocktails and provide beverage service in its waterfront dining setting at the Lauderdale Marine Center. The role involves creating drinks that complement the guest experience, sharing knowledgeable recommendations, and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Bartenders are expected to provide responsible alcohol service and keep the bar clean and organized.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience.
Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Must be of legal age to prepare, serve, and ring alcoholic beverages.
Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and some holidays.
Certified in responsible alcohol service, or able to obtain certification, as required by state or local law.
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, in the primary language of the work location.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive arm and hand movements frequently.
Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 30–40 pounds.
Manual dexterity to pour, mix, garnish, and handle glassware safely.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and multitask while responding quickly to customer needs.
Tolerance for exposure to noise, crowded spaces, and varying temperatures.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Engage with guests by providing friendly, knowledgeable service and suggesting drink pairings.
Maintain a clean and organized bar area and properly handle glassware and equipment.
Check identification and enforce age restrictions to ensure responsible alcohol service.
Collaborate with the team to maintain a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere.
