About The Position

McMenamins Edgefield is hiring for a Bartender in the Bars Department. McMenamins is a family-owned company in Oregon and Washington serving handcrafted beer, wine, cider, spirits, and coffee alongside pub fare. Locations range from neighborhood pubs to historic hotels, emphasizing community, art, history, music, food, drink, and fun. McMenamins offers seasonal and long-term career opportunities and values Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Bartenders will handle all tasks from opening to closing the bar. Duties include serving food, pouring and serving beverages, operating a cash register/POS system, waiting on and bussing tables, doing dishes, restocking supplies, general cleaning, completing shift books, and maintaining customer relations. Bartenders are responsible for all cashiering duties. This role requires physical stamina, mental agility, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, working in both smoking and non-smoking areas. A bartender must also work well independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

  • Obtain and maintain a current food handlers card and OLCC card
  • 21+ years of age

Nice To Haves

  • Previous related experience is preferred
  • Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays preferred
  • Enjoy working in a busy customer service-oriented environment

Responsibilities

  • Serving food
