About The Position

The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional guest service through the preparation and presentation of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and service standards. This role creates a welcoming atmosphere, maintains a clean and organized bar, ensures responsible alcohol service, and contributes to an outstanding guest experience while supporting overall food and beverage operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous bartending experience preferred
  • Knowledge of cocktail preparation, wine, beer, and spirits
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills
  • Experience with POS systems preferred
  • Alcohol service certification and food handler certification as required by local regulations
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, professional, and attentive service.
  • Engage with guests to create a welcoming and enjoyable bar experience.
  • Make beverage recommendations based on guest preferences
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns professionally
  • Maintain a high level of hospitality and service excellence at all times
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes, specifications, and presentation standards
  • Demonstrate knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and specialty beverages
  • Verify guest age and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and regulations
  • Accurately ring in orders and process payments through the POS system.
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible beverage service
  • Prepare garnishes, mixers, and ingredients needed for daily operations
  • Serve bar guests and support restaurant servers with beverage orders
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar area, equipment, and service stations
  • Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, glassware, and supplies as needed
  • Conduct opening, closing, and side work duties according to established procedures
  • Assist with inventory counts and report low-stock items to management.
  • Properly handle cash, credit card transactions, and guest checks.
  • Ensure all bar equipment is functioning properly and report maintenance issues
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines
