About The Position

Create connections. Craft cocktails. You are responsible for preparing and serving inspired drinks while delivering distinctive experiences for guests. You are the charming individual that impresses guests with your beverage expertise and techniques in an unmatched, expertly maintained atmosphere.

Requirements

At least one year of related education, training and/or experience.
Ability to perform essential functions on the computerized Point of Sale system.
Working knowledge and ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks.
Working knowledge of the proper operation of all bar equipment.
Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations.
Working knowledge of standard cash handling procedures.
Current State Food Handler’s License and State Mixologist Permit required

Responsibilities

Has all required Washington state certifications for bartending.
Ability to craft cocktails and maintain inventory to limit waste.
Ability to work independently and open and close the rooftop bar while maintaining a clean and safe environment for all.
Responsible for creating a welcoming environment with greeting guests, taking orders, providing recommendations and checking I.D.s.
Responsible for taking cover payments for non-hotel guests as needed.
Will work with Ben Paris when placing food orders for guests on rooftop.
Responsible for cash handling and bank for Little Ben’s rooftop bar.
Flexibility required, with potential for working in Ben Paris bar if needed or scheduled to be on call.
Must be able to lift 30 lbs and be able to stand for 7 hours.
