About The Position

At Maverick, we are passionate about the casino business, serving guests, and having fun. The Bartender is responsible for mixing and serving drinks to guests and servers, handling payments, stocking supplies, and maintaining a clean and professional appearance. This role requires excellent alcohol service knowledge, the ability to work with a POS system, and a commitment to promoting positive guest relations.

Requirements

Performs job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
Must have excellent alcohol service knowledge.
Ability to work with Point of Sale (POS) system.
Ability to get Bar Card.
Ability to prioritize and organize, uses time efficiently.
Resolve problems using good judgment, displays willingness to make decisions, exhibits sound and accurate judgment, and makes timely decisions.
Ability to work well with guests and colleagues.
Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
Actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.

Responsibilities

Greet guests in a prompt, courteous manner and thank them upon departure.
Responsibly mix and serve drinks according to policy and procedure for servers and guests.
Clear and clean tables after each use and ensure they are set properly.
Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of all bar equipment.
Maintain an orderly and accurate par level for the bar service outlet.
Promote positive guest relations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
