About The Position
Maverick Casino & Hotel Elko is seeking a Poker Dealer to join their team. This role involves managing poker games, collecting bets, exchanging currency for chips, and ensuring a safe and secure gaming environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering a fun and energetic gaming experience, possess strong math and attention to detail skills, and be knowledgeable about poker and gaming regulations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Minimum six months dealing experience preferred, but not required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming License.
- Working knowledge of cash handling.
- Knowledge of State of Nevada Gambling regulations and rules.
Nice To Haves
- No experience necessary, will train.
- Passion for delivering a fun, energetic, and positive gaming experience for guests.
- Math skills to collect bets and exchange currency for gaming chips.
- Keen attention to detail to promote a safe gaming space.
