About The Position

As a Bartender Tipped at Sodexo, you will provide exceptional customer service and mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to patrons, directly or through wait staff, quickly and without waste. You will work with wait staff and other team members to help ensure prompt service. Responsibilities may vary by account according to business needs and client requirements.

The role is part-time at M&T Bank Corp UPA in Buffalo, New York. Shifts and hours vary, and open availability is preferred. Further schedule details will be provided during the interview process.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 1 year of related experience.
• Meet or exceed the minimum age to serve alcohol or bartend under applicable local and state regulations.
• Ability to walk or otherwise remain mobile and to stand for extended periods, potentially throughout shifts exceeding eight hours.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift or move 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to make a wide range of drink recipes and mix drinks correctly is preferred.
• Open availability for varying shifts, days, and hours is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and create drink recipes with appropriate garnishes.
• Keep the assigned bar area fully equipped with the tools and products needed to mix beverages and serve guests.
• Prepare accurate beginning inventory counts and submit inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, tactful, and attentive manner.
• Attend work and arrive for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Perform other duties as assigned, which may vary based on business needs and client requirements.
