About The Position

The Bartender delivers friendly, personal service in a fast-paced AMC theatre setting, creating a welcoming guest experience while supporting AMC’s mission. AMC provides training in bartending, including mixing drinks and pouring portions. The role serves beverages, maintains a clean and stocked bar, and works collaboratively with the team while following safety procedures and company policies.

The position requires evening, weekend, and occasional holiday availability. Physical duties include frequent standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending, as well as lifting up to 50 pounds and carrying it up to 90 feet or depositing it into a dumpster or trash compactor. Required attire includes black non-slip shoes, black pants, an AMC-provided shirt where applicable, and items required by local regulations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Bartending experience is appreciated but not required.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Willing to complete required AMC-provided training and certifications.
• Friendly and outgoing, with strong guest service, communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry it up to 90 feet, or deposit it into a dumpster or trash compactor.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and serve drinks to enhance their movie experience.
• Learn and perform bartending tasks, including mixing drinks and pouring portions, with AMC-provided training.
• Recommend featured and premium beverages.
• Check identification and serve only guests aged 21 or older, following applicable laws and guidelines.
• Keep the bar area clean and stocked.
• Open the bar at the start of the day and close it at night, completing setup and cleanup.
• Follow instructions for the safe use of chemicals and cleaning materials.
• Work as part of a team and support fellow bartenders.
• Help create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and respected.
• Follow AMC wardrobe standards and any attire required by local regulations.
• Maintain a professional and positive demeanor.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Complete required training and certifications.
