About The Position

Kaminsky’s Dessert Café isn’t just a sweet stop—it’s a Charleston staple where guests come for towering milkshakes, decadent desserts, and indulgent cocktails with a creative twist. From rich dessert martinis to cozy hot toddies, we’re dishing out treats with personality in a warm, late-night lounge vibe that feels like your favorite hideaway. Part of the Homegrown Hospitality Group, Kaminsky’s is one piece of a 15+ location restaurant family across South Carolina built on connection, consistency, and (of course) killer service. We’re looking for a hospitality-driven, cocktail-savvy Bartender who’s as comfortable garnishing a dessert martini as they are chatting up guests at the bar. You’ll mix, pour, and serve with skill and style—creating an experience that keeps people coming back for just “one more round.”

Requirements

21+ with Bartending experience (or serious cocktail chops)
Naturally friendly, attentive, and people-focused
Knowledgeable about spirits, wines, and craft cocktails
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Sharp on safety standards and responsible alcohol service
Team player with strong communication and multitasking skills
Obsessed with creating memorable guest experiences (and beautiful drinks)

Responsibilities

Create and serve signature cocktails, spirited hot beverages, and classics with a Kaminsky’s twist
Engage with guests like they’re old friends—because after a few drinks, they might be
Manage the bar area with confidence, cleanliness, and speed
Suggest pairings, upsell favorites, and know the menu like it’s your go-to playlist
Monitor responsible alcohol service and follow all safety standards
Keep the vibe lively and the atmosphere on point
Support the front-of-house team during busy shifts
Balance the register, prep garnishes, and close out your station like a pro
