About The Position

The Bartender/Server position is the face of our food and beverage sales. This person will interact with customers, take orders, and serve food and drinks. The goal of this position is to exceed customers' expectations by providing efficient and friendly service at special on-site events and at our various indoor and outdoor locations within our club. This position reports to the Club Manager on site.

Requirements

  • 2 years high volume bartending experience required.
  • TIPS Certification required.
  • Lift 50lbs & ability to stand for extended period. Ascend/descend stairs and ladders.
  • Ability to work flexible shift/hours including weekday, evening, weekend, and holiday hours, throughout the season.
  • Ability to work overtime if needed.
  • Must be able to work both indoors and at outdoor venues that includes a variety of weather conditions including hot or cold temperatures.
  • Energetic, motivated, organized.
  • Submit to pre-placement background check with favorable results.

  • 21+ years old.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in a timely & friendly manner and suggestively upsell products.
  • Prepare alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks with consistency and speed in a high volume, fast-paced environment for seasonal outdoor bars.
  • Assess customer’s needs, preference, making suggestions. Upsell products.
  • Serve alcohol responsibly and within all legal limits.
  • Friendly & energetic personality in a team-orientated work environment.
  • Accurately handle cash, card & member account transactions through POS system.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of standardized drink & food recipes & accurately take orders.
  • Maintain pristine environments for all customers. Follow all proper sanitation protocols.
  • Stock and rotate products daily. Replenish supplies as needed. Keep liquor room, walk-in, and clean and organized.
  • General cleaning including, but not limited to, washing dishes, cleaning and maintaining all equipment in the cabana bar, taking out the trash, sanitizing equipment and workstations, bathrooms, sweeping, mopping floors, and bathrooms.
  • Prepared to assist customers with any questions about PADONIA. Assist other employees as needed.
  • Provide high volume, fast-paced service to our seasonal dining, bar & pool side areas.
  • Assist managers from other departments as needed.
  • Follow all safety and health guidelines as outlined by the company.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned or required.
  • Work as needed in all other Departments of PADONIA – including Catering and Special Events- front and back of house, Park Operations, The Grille, Windy Valley.
