About The Position

40North Restaurants is hiring a Lead Bartender to join the opening team at our new restaurant this fall. We’re looking for an experienced bartender who can lead by example, support the bar team, and make guests feel welcome. 40North Restaurants is the full-service division of Villa Restaurant Group, a family-owned, multi-brand restaurant company. Come meet our team and help us welcome our first guests this fall!

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of bartending experience, including 1 year in a lead role or training other bartenders, preferably in an upscale, full-service restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
• Friendly service, clear communication, and attention to detail.
• Ability to stay organized and lead during busy shifts.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cocktails and serve beer, wine, and spirits consistently.
• Guide the bar team during service and support training.
• Keep the bar stocked, clean, organized, and ready for service.
• Monitor supplies and communicate inventory needs to management.
• Process orders and payments accurately.
• Follow responsible alcohol service procedures, including checking identification.
• Work with management and the service team to keep shifts running smoothly.
