About The Position

As a Barista, you prepare coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other menu items using established recipes and procedures, maintaining consistent quality and presentation throughout the day. You help create a positive customer experience by greeting customers, taking orders, answering questions, and responding to requests. You also organize and maintain a clean, safe work area, restock supplies, and keep equipment and service areas ready for continuous use. You collaborate with team members to support smooth workflow, particularly during busy periods.

This is an entry-level position with advancement opportunity. The role requires being at least 16 years old and availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior food service or customer service experience is preferred. The work can involve standing for extended periods, lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds, and working in varying temperature environments.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to provide friendly, timely, and helpful customer service and respond to customer questions and requests.
• Familiarity with preparing coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and related products using established methods.
• Ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple orders, and maintain an orderly workspace.
• Familiarity with safe food and beverage handling, sanitation practices, and safety guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing service demands.
• Ability to safely operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment according to established guidelines.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds, and work in varying temperature environments.
